Environmentalk
I’d like to end this blog I’ll call “environmentalk”, for now, with inspiring words from a motto and a proverb. Perhaps some of you have chanced upon these lines. The rest may have just read the same right now. No matter when, the concern is for us as stewards of Mother Earth, to assimilate the messages these lines are trying to put across:
“ Take nothing but pictures.
Leave nothing but footprints” - Motto of Baltimore Grotto, a caving society.
“ We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children”
– Native American Proverb
Wherever we go, do not do anything destructive to our environment. Let us trust our skillful hands in capturing photos of scenes and views we find breathtaking. Never bring with us anything that will ruin the beauty of such a place nor jeopardize the existence of rare plants or animals. Leave a wonderful environment to the next generations. Don’t leave behind harmful and toxic chemicals.
